I ordered Leopard up to date..and wierd date

I just ordered my up to date for my other macbook pro

and it says "Ships by Oct.26/07...i thought I would get it on the 26th?

I think that is the latest date that they will ship it. In the past people who preorder usually get it release day or the day before.

mine says 'ships by october 26th', not on october 26th so i guess i'll just have to wait and see...

Up-t-date and full retail copies do not appear to be handled the same way. If you want it by the 26th for sure, order retail. The update program discs may ship later.
