I pad pro 2018 problem

hi could anyone tell me what apples stance is about the 2018 I pad 12.9 bending as I have one that is bent.
I have told apple and they say they will send it away to be checked which could take 2 weeks.
They say if they cannot fond anything wrong they will charge me for the check. Which is not right

Wrong section. You should’ve just returned it and bought another unit, because Apple considers bending normal. Regardless if that was a true statement or not, Apple should let you return your iPad for whatever reason.
