hi guys read many of these posts and found how to unlock my i phone 2g using redsnow it is on 3.1.2 it said it worked fine but i still cant use another sim from a different network any one no how i do this thanks in advance

Did you jailbreak with Redsn0w? Go into Cydia and search for BootNueter. It will unlock your iPhone.
 
hi mate yeah used them managed to install bootneuter but it has now crashed on the bootneuter app i cant do anything with the phone now
