If you register your i phone on your mac what happens when you get a new mac can it be re synced to new one??
prob going to upgrade my laptop soon but going to register my iphone on current one.?

I did that.. nothing special was required. It's just the same as moving an ipod from one mac to another. It warns you it's going to wipe it and install its own itunes library, that's about it.

If you buy a new Mac, you should use Migration Assistant in the Utilities folder to transfer the info from the old to the new. Works like a charm for all your settings... including iPhone through iTunes.
