i-Pod HiFi Remote & Front Row Remote Conflicts

Need Help..
Just bought an iPod Hi-Fi to act as a speakers for my new Mini, however when accessing Front Row on the mini it access the iPod Hi-Fi. For instance when I scroll down the playlist, it turns the volume down on the Hi-Fi, anyway to turn this function off? Thanks!

You can pair one remote to one device by pressing a combination of buttons on the remote. You'll have to look them up on Apple's support site but I think it's the middle play button and the next track button on the right hand side of the circle.
