iPod I-pod wont update thru I-tunes

its just another problem in a recent spate of i-pod woes really. but the latest is when i plug the i-pod into my powermac, it wont automatically update anymore but rather just freezes at the 'do not disconnect' stage. any ideas?? (before it gets the hammer)

Have you tried the 5 Rs of iPod troubleshooting? Have you got another iPod cable you could try?

anyway, in my experience, i'd say, your battery is dying, FAST.

Na, I was gonna pull him up on the spelling of iTunes and iPod.

if you have an older iPod (3 years or over), the battery will be dying.

i don't know why you spelled it i-pod, because iPod is written on the back of it...
