What I am worried about is that my G4's Ribbon was really short.. it was so short that the only option was to put the second Hard drive directly on top of my 1st Hard Drive. I am worried about heat dissipation and stuff.. it can get really hot in my computer since I also have put in a Radeon 9800 Pro and have a OWC Mercury Processor in it. Its kinda of funny how I acquired this second hard drive.. For the last 3 years I have been using a external OWC Neptune Firewire HD, but the last month or so I have been noticing that its started to become unstable so I checked it with various programs and they all said the drive was fine. It was the Firewire connection that was going bad.. I replaced the the Firewire Cable.. nothing.. it wasn't a bad cable then. By now I am REALLY pissed since I had a 11gb file that I needed to access, but I couldn't because Neptune kept disconnecting and bringing my computer down. It had to be either my computers Firewire connector was going bad or the Neptune's was going bad. I took apart the Firewire drive and noticed that it was compatible with my computer so I put it in and thats how I have my second internal HD.
