The iPhone air is probably the most exciting iPhone since the iPhone X and I was really intrigued by it. The one camera doesn’t bother me, neither does the smaller battery because I’m always close to a charger and I can always buy the Apple MagSafe battery if needed. The one thing that does bother me is the single firing speaker but even with that I was almost willing to compromise because of how different the form factor and the weight is.

Anywho, I’ve been using the 17 pro max for a week now and it is so damn good that I’m no longer intrigued by the Air. First off, the battery life is FREAKING AMAZING! The first few days it was really good but it seems like after a week it has been optimized to my usage and it lasts forever. I’m not giving that up for the Air. Same with the stereo speakers, they’re so loud and clear it’s just amazing. So yea I’m no longer even interested in the air but I do look forward to the Air 2 to see what they do with it. I couldn’t be happier with my 17 Pro max

im glad you like it, i actually traded in my 17 pro max for the air and am very happy, i don't need a phone to last 2 days lol i have been ending the day around 50% with the air. i dont game on my phones or do much beyond listening to music or doom scrolling

Thanks! And Im happy for you with the Air, at the end of the day we just go with what we want, that's the beauty of having many choices.

I’ve been using the Air since yesterday morning as my only phone and love it. Tonight I picked up my 16Pro and thought huh, I do like the feel of it in the hand, and kept using it. But I found very quickly that my eyes were starting to feel strained while reading on it. I’m not sure if it’s the slightly smaller screen or something else on the 16, but I find the Air isn’t bothering me like that.

I tried all five but did not really feel like any were a improvement.
