Yesterday I quite stupidly ran rm -r ./* in my home directory. I thought I was in the Trash dir!

Is there any way I can recover the data or is it all gone?

Is there some kind of IoS save point I can roll back too?

appreciate any help but I am beginning to think I am hosed...:mad:

Yes you did.:eek:

It is gone, the only way to (Partially) recover is to use a recovery program, but then you need an external Data carrier to recover the files to, so, you still have to buy a HD to recover from instead of backing up before this happened.

Always keep a backup, especially when messing with the System.
