I recorded 2 files of over 1 hour of audio on my iPhone and it refuses to work?

I recently recorded 2 audio files on my 3G iPhone. However I cannot play them on my phone. So I've used the program iPhoneBrowser. There it says the files are of an unknown type and the extention of the files are .mov which is impossible as you can't record video with a 3G. It did not download to my iTunes either. Both are about 1 hour 5 minutes long recorded with the included Voice Memos app. What can I do??
