I register my new MBP, Apple says "Thanks for registering your new iPod Touch" ?!?!

anyways ya so after registering my new MBP i get an email from apple thanking me for registering an iPod touch?!?!

Im hoping that my s/n isn't suppose to be an iPod Touch s/n

anyone else have this problem?

That's because the new MBP's look like ipod-touch's and Apple confused the ipod line with the pro-line. That's why we've got glossy all over now.

This happened to me as well. Was confused...

But was even more confused when my keyboard backlighting stopped working after about 3 hours.

Mine did the same thing. I had the receipt from the Apple Store in my in box and then the iPod Touch email followed. Do you think that they sent the first buyers a free one I didn't think so...

on the other hand.. i think we should complain to apple as a 'serious issue' and that they should be required to send us new ipod touch
