Just as it finishes restoring it says iPod successfully restored please leave device connected as it restarted (This message will disapear in 10 seconds) The message dissapears and then I get a message saying iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode please restore this iPod

@@@ All I want to do is update, and if I try updating withouting using tiny umbrella and iREB I get either error 3194 or error 16xx HELP!!!!!
Hard reset does not work when it is in DFU mode, only when it's in recovery mode... so don't tell me to hold lock and home button for 10 seconds becuase it doesn't work!!!
