I'd like to have a list of things people said about the iPad before the event on Wednesday. So later, I can go down the list and see who was wrong or right. Place your bets on the table.

I say the iPad 3 will be completely black.

Event is Wednesday. Hurry to get your bet in!

I say there will be a retina display and LTE will replace the 3G models and it will have a faster processor and it will have a home button and will come in either black or white and it will look just like the iPad 2 except a minuscule amount thicker and it will also have a better camera because all of these things seem obvious by now.

Also, the only risky bet I'm taking: Aperture for iPad 3 and iPhone 4s.

Not related to iPad: A new Apple TV box (not an actual television, this time) that will support iTunes' new 1080p content and an introduction to apps for Apple TV. And also a release announcement for iWork 12 for Mac (because didn't they preview it as iWork 11 like two years ago, already?).

Going to happen:

It will be called iPad 3
It will have a home button
It will be a tiny bit thicker
It will be dual-core
It will have a 5mp back camera
It will have retina display
It will have 1gb ram
It will be in 16gb, 32gb, and 64gb (black and white)
It will be 3G on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon
Apple will release a stylus for the iPad 3 (model B82)
Apple TV 3 with 1080p support and new services (Hulu plus, HBO GO, etc)
The 16gb wifi iPad 2 will drop to $399
iTunes movies and tv shows will bump up to 1080p
Apple will demo a new app (real racing, GarageBand 2, iMovie 2, an apple designed note taking app to go with the stylus, etc)
New features from ios 6 will be teased.

Not going to happen:

It will not be 4G
It will not be called iPad HD or iPad 2S
There will not be a price increase
There will not be a 128gb option
There will not be an 8gb iPad 2
It will not be quad-core
There will not be a 7" iPad
There will not be a TV made by Apple unveiled
