So I wasn't aware I needed anything specific to run the io7 Beta. I installed it, ran it and since I am not part of the developers I can't activate it. OK, no worries I'll go back to my backup of 6 and wait until the official release. Unfortunately, I see no way to do this. I plug my phone into my comp that has my saved ios 6 and it only sees it as unactivated and won't allow me to get into my phone to revert back to ios 6.

For reference, I tried installing ios 7 via a laptop that my phone was not synced with. When it failed, I went back to my normal computer to get to my backup and that failed.

Any halp? I just want me phone back to the way it was.

Yup, plug your phone into your Mac, launch Xcode, select your portal for the iPhone, remove iOS 7 and then restore to 6.1.3. You must first down load the ipsw file from the developer site.

You don't have to download the ispw file from the developer site. The OP already said that he was not a developer hence why he could not activate iOS 7 when he restored to it.

OP, just follow the instructions on the link above.
