Not if you're not a fan of the color scheme for the C. The internals aren't that much different.

That's why I said "I" would rather have a 5C. I'm not trying to suggest the same for anyone else. I like the colors and some specs are a smidge better on the 5C. But that's just me. My personal opinion. YMMV and everyone is free to select the phone they prefer.

The 5C is a better buy at $49 at other non ATT stores than the "old" iPhone 5.

Why?
1. Cheaper
2. Same hardware internals...well 5C has 5% higher battery
3. 5C supports more lte bands

And the 5c has a better front camera

I think it depends on your mood. The 5 has a more premium feeling build to it while the 5C is more fun. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

I was just offered a 5 upgrade thru premier customer care for $49/16gb.

I prefer the 5C myself. Love the green and it is future proof in terms of LTE bands.

iPhone 5 and 5c 16GB (any color, any carrier) is $0.00 for new customers or add a line at Best Buy, In Store and Online.

In fact, all 5s models are $100 off for new line or new account with 2-year contract. Extra $50 Best Buy giftcard for anyone who reserved the PhoneFreedom offer.

Thanks for the link. I have an early upgrade waiting for a 5C. Was going to order, but didn't yet.

I picked up a white and black iPhone 5 at Target when they were $99. I didn't pay a dime for em because I was porting two lines from Sprint to Verizon so the trade in value on my two iPhone 4s's got me two iPhone 5's and two speck candy shell cases. Not bad, Im just happy I switched and I can make a phone call without having to step outside.

I personally prefer the design of the 5 compared to the 5c. I know the 5c has more LTE bands but its not that important to me since I already have LTE everywhere I go anyway and I don't need 80mbps. Too bad I was in a hurry to switch because I would have loved to get the 5s on that BestBuy promotion for $99. Oh well.
