Don't know what has happened, but my internet conection seems to have slowed to a crawl. I originally thought it was Safari - but it's slow on Mail as well.

What could cause this?

I have booted on another partition and it's lickity split - but I have none of my settings on ot.

Please help:(:(

That comes to mind when reading "I broke the internet": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAUyaELfwBo .

You should give more specific information as to what system you have and how do you connect to the internet.

For example:

Mac: iMac G5 or iMac Intel Alu or MacBook or ....
Mac OS: 10.4.11 or 10.5.7 or ....
Safari version: 2.x or 3.x

Access to the internet via a cable to a router or via Airport/W-LAN to the router or W-LAN on a campus or ....

What is different with the settings between both systems you boot into?
What Operating System (OS) is this other system?

What are your network settings?
