iPad I severed a cable repairing my IPAD. I can no longer connect to any networks.

I dropped my Ipad and repaired it myself. During the repair process, I accidentally severed a cable (located to the right of the home button).

I believe it may have been the NIC cable. My ipad works fine, it just can't connect to the internet. No networks are recognized. I troubleshooted the device, but I strongly believe it is a physical problem.

HELP.

Splice cable and try electrical tape? Or, depending on how long the cable is, try replacing it. Last resort, see what Apple will do.

Open it back up and replace the wifi antenna. Good luck!

Probably shouldn't have severed that cable.

If he snipped the cable, he should have replaced it instead of putting it back together and hoping that wouldn't affect something.
