My father in law just got his first iMac yesterday and as a recent switcher myself I am still learning.

What's the best way that we can use the isight to talk to each other over the net.

I have never used a webcam or messaging program on either a PC or Mac.

If possible I would like to be able to do it at no cost.

He loves the iMac after just one day of having it.

Skype or iChat, which comes with your Mac.

For iChat you either need an AOL account or pay for a .Mac account
