i think 3g bricked? Need help with someone active!

ok guys i have a slight problem well today i jail broke my iphone 3g 2.0.1 using winpwn and after i did i did not get any bars so im like screw this jailbreak so i restored my phone now its saying Activation Alert No signal detected. Signal is required to complete activation.

Where is your phone from, and are you somewhere where you aren't getting signal from your original iPhone carrier?

Did you uncheck the activate box in winpwn? Have you tried removing your sim card are inserting it again? Have you tried restoring and setting up the iPhone as new?

ummm am i supposed to ? its the 3g and im on At&t and staying...yes i tried that when the problem had first occurred. and the last i think that's what i did wrong im not sure but i think ill make it right again if i try but cant since i updated to 2.0.2 when i restored the iphone completely
so i gotta wait for a new version

Try putting it in recovery mode and then restoring.
