I really don't see why people are complaining about the 4S and how it's being now really far behind android systems and such. Let me try to explain why iPhone 4S is great. Bother to read this and you will get it.
-First off, it uses iOS, it's stable, unlike android. And it doesn't fell plastic and cheap like the Android phones.
-Also, all you fanboys are comparing specs on paper. So what if Samsung Galaxy S2 has 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB ram and iPhone 4S has 1 Ghz and 512 mb ram(still not sure about this one). iPhone 4S still kicks the hell out of Android in day to day tasks, it's indeed smoother and faster, more stable. Think of it like the American muscle cars vs. European cars. American muscle cars are all beefed up with the most powerful engines, animalistic horsepowers and such, but Eurpoean cars have just what they need and they're tweaked. Overall, european ones are better in performance.
-There's a new camera, and iPhone 4 design is great. Also what are you planning to do with 4.3" screen? You have to carry this thing in your pocket. It's a mobile phone. Also if you get bigger screen and A5, you better get used to traveling around with a charger everywhere.
so i don't see where the big fuss is. I think iPhone 4S is great. It's camera is like a real camera instead of a mobile phone camera. It's much faster and it's going to be a successful phone in the end. Just like 3GS. And i believe it's going to be durable.
Also if you look at things from Apple's point of view. They need a new design with the major future technologies they're gonna introduce next year. They couldn't have made 2 design changes in 2 years. And don't expect them to give up on iPhone 4 design in the near future, they still sell the 3G design and 3G design was their best phone in the lineup for 24 months remember? iPhone 4 design is the best phone in the lineup for only 16 months, and this design is better. I think it was stupid to expect a design too, looking at things from a businessman, marketer point of view.
Only downside about the 4S i think is the date, it would've been great if it were to come out 3 months ago. I am definitely going to buy this phone but only thing that bugles me is the possibility of it being outdated only 8-10 months from now. But again that's because iOS 5 wasn't ready, they wanted to introduce the new phone with the new software.
After all these facts if you are still complaining, go buy an Android phone with battery sucker LCD tv's with low resolution and unstable OS and low performance. Apple still rules the mobile phone market. It's becoming just like Mac and PC, Mac has lower specs but great overall, PC is all beefed up with latest specs, muscle pc's and such, still mac is great. Why? Software.
