OS3.0 became available about 18:15 here and I was lucky enough to download it without a problem. Since then though the internet has been very slow (generally, not on iPhone). A few friends have noted slow times loading pages etc on different ISP's.

I'm wondering if the millions trying to download OS3.0 is slowly killing the internet! im guessing for us in the UK its only going to get worse tonight too as USA comes home from work and starts the download!.

Maybe I should try the real world tonight!

Funnily enough, the internet has been much slower for me than normal, this afternoon!

nope,

the Internet is fine and the few iphone owners wont hurt any ISP. :D (i am a network engineer)

My washing machine broke tonight as well.

Coincidence?

I think not!

That's because Apple's testing out the new iWash, planned to be announced at next year's MacWorld. It's both a washer and dryer in one machine, which automatically switches to dryer mode once your clothes are washed. But Apple decided to leave out the water line, so you have to fill it up with buckets of water.

Ah, now I see.

I think I'll hold out for iWash 2.0
