Reminds me of when we were in Provence, driving along the edge of the Gorges du Verdon, the Grand Canyon du Verdon, which was on the right hand side, when suddenly our TomTom announced "In 50 yards, TURN RIGHT."

mine got a little better since the update, before when i was in the house and i just tested it out it was on the other side of the house which wasn't a big deal at all but now it pretty much locks into the location of my room!

Your friend TomTom wants to swim!!

Unfortunately the river was several hundred metres down the gorge!

found that rebooting helps. I got off at the wrong bus stop yesterday, and tried to figure out where I was using the iPhone gps, only to be told I was on a golf course on the other side of town. I rebooted on the spot and the gps was a bit more accurate.

mine works great, the big blue circle means it hasn't pinpointed your location... i just wait a minute usually and it locks right on where i am and is great.

Might I suggest you guys use google and find out how all GPS works, there is error on all GPS signals, it depends on many things, like how satellites you've locked on to, there relative positions, weather conditions, and obstructions.

The big blue area is basically the error, like the other poster said, you should be somewhere inside that circle.
