Well, I was waiting for the MacBook to come out to replace the iBook in my sig, but I happened to pop into COSTCO...bought an iMac, G5, 2.1, 20" with three years of Applecare for $1299 (the store's last one). The same machine on the Apple refurb site is 1299 plus 169 for Applecare. I've got more RAM on order from Crucial and I'll be in business. I just noticed a bonus...iLife '06 disc in the box!
