Hi,

I am so afraid that i have a malware!!

I use Mac OS X 10.5.8
I recently update flash that shows a big red flash disk icone when doing asking to update.
Now i notice when i try to change a file name look what happen:

I hope its not a malware but i wish you can help me.
 
Could we have more information? I see there's a bit of a language barrier, but I'm not getting what all the symptoms are.
 
What is your native language? If it is German I could help you or you try English again with more detail. This one is incomprehensible.

It's not malware. Macs are not immune to malware, but no true viruses exist in the wild that can run on Mac OS X, and there never have been any since it was released 10 years ago. The only malware in the wild that can affect Mac OS X is a handful of trojans, which can be easily avoided with some basic education, common sense and care in what software you install. Also, Mac OS X Snow Leopard and Lion have anti-malware protection built in, further reducing the need for 3rd party antivirus apps.
The issue you're having is not a symptom of any malware in existence.
