Hi folks,

MacBook Pro (early 2015, A1502)…

I decided to take it upon myself to replace a dead battery. Followed all the instructions, and was well on my way. Until - disaster. In replacing the trackpad cable (like the last thing I had to do), it looks like I have ruined the ZIF socket it plugs into. Some pins have broken.

I’ve attached some pics for you to see my heartache. Any recommendations for me???

wow... hate to break it to ya but at that point you're probably SOL unless you find someone who can fix it for you or you can solder one on yourself. would recommend the former obviously, the latter is very difficult to do even if you do have some experience with soldering...
