I think i stuff my iphone

So i was a Dev, who updated to 3.0 beta. I since have had my macbook die on me and my iphone stopped working this morning because the software had expired. I jumped on my pc, downloaded latest itunes 8.2 and clicked update, it said i was already updated. I tried restore, and nothing. I am guess i am needing a macbook to fix this problem?

Try putting the phone into DFU mode and let itunes restore it from that.
