I think im going to downgrade on a 3G

Yep. Get an iPhone 4. Which is exactly what I'll be doing. I would hate for my iPhone 3G to feel even more slow than it does under 3.1.3.
I Jailbroke my 3G before and didn't like the experience. The 128MB memory of the 3G just kills multitasking and other fancy stuff we see in the iOS4.
I restored my 3G and like it better compared to my Jailbroke times...
Mine runs fine.
Yeah, it's slow, but no slower than 3.1.3 was. I was running the GM version for a few days and I'm restoring it now to the official release (same build number but I'm just doing it since the file sizes are different).
Looking forward to the iPhone 4. Should be a nice speed increase.

4 broke the app "photo safe pro" for me. I think the photos are still there it just crashes before I can view them. So far every thing else seems ok.
places (in photo albums) is really cool... i didn't expect it to work on all my old photos for some reason but it does.

Hmm, mine actually feels incredibly faster. I emphasize this because I am really shocked. The phone was almost unusable with 3.1.3, but with iOS 4.0 it is really snappy and not sluggish at all.
