I want to buy a iphone 4 and a new plan with it.

so should I get it from apple or at&t?

where to pre order and when?

does pre ordering insure I get the phone on release day?

I'm eighteen. What do I need to setup a plan with at&t?

also I'm on a fmaily plan. can I trnasfer my number to the new phone?

no there is no guarantee that you will have your preorder on the release day. all depends on when you preorder

You've been here 3 years and need someone to hold your hand to buy a phone. Pre-order at apple.com on the 15th and go to the store for pick-up since your setting up a new account. They can help answer all your qiestions

reading some of the other posts by this dumdum, it was an obvious attempt for flaming bait. Dude should really just turn off his computer for good.
 
This is not a cell phone support forum. If you ever have a problem with an iPhone come here. But your questions would be better answered by AT&T or Apple.

There is TONS of information out there.

Not to mention the forum search... where all of these could have been answered faster than trying to pry them from people like us who've heard the questions 995,478,127,248,963 times.

It just dawned on me that maybe people do not know that the search is there.

This website should have something like other websites have. When people go to make a thread or ask customer service a question, they type it in. The next step brings them to a list of possible questions that have already been asked that could answer theirs. If not, then they can keep going to post it.

It will be more work, but might be useful in the long run.

i find it amazing how I ask a question and I get ******** from 80% of the people..
