My mother got me the phone for my birthday using her upgrade, does anyone know what i should and should not do to procede to link it to my number/account, i read somewhere where someone said to not turn it on or something, is there anything else i need to know? and do i need to go into the store to get this done? Thanks all, hope you are enjoying your phones!:D

Yes, a cross upgrade is when one line on an account with multiple lines "gives away" its upgrade to a line that does not yet qualify. Call your carrier and they will walk you through it. Congratulations and Happy Birthday!:cool:

Heck, a few people even posted the EXACT ATT INSTRUCTIONS that come in an email.
