I think I've been scammed, the difference between marware microshell for ipad 3/2?

I have just brought a a marware microshell for the new ipad which it arrived today. It simply didn't fit my new ipad. The case seems too shallow for my ipad. I am suspecting that the seller had sold me the microshell for ipad 2 as I know ipad 2 is a bit thiner. The seal on the packaging has already opened before I receive it. Can anyone tell me how to tell apart the case for ipad 2 and the new ipad?

I think the iPad 2 have a silver silver inside the the new ones have it black. Do some youtube research.
