ok so before i start this, i know how to discharge a CRT and work on it safely, i don't need safety advice.

now to what it's doing. if i move a window around on the screen it flashes, the picture is stable when nothing is moving but if a big thing on screen moves it flashes.

idk what could be the cause, if there is a relatively easy fix like a cap replacement or something then i'd be very interested in doing that fix.

the model is a 1998 Rev B, 233mhz.

it's always worked fine for the years that i've had it, i got it for an insane price like 6 years ago and it's always worked apart from a hard drive i needed to replace, and i'd like to get many more years out of it if possible.

it's powered up rarely so idk exactly when this started, as it hasn't been used for 6 months until last evening when i noticed the weirdness.

any help is welcome.

Did you check the capacitors? That could be a reason for the issues.
