K so I've had this phone for a while and it was falling apart: my screen was held together by that transparent plastic sticker type stuff used for laminating, the power button's connecting wire snapped, the whole thing was dented to hell... anyway, friend o' mine had an iPhone lying around (had software probs, wasn't working) that he gave me and I somehow managed to take his screen, camera and rear panel and put it on mine without breaking it... everything works wonderfully... except that when headphones aren't plugged in, the iPhone seems to think there are and vice versa. Normally I wouldn't care, as long as I'm able to make phone calls... which I can't... sort of... I mean, I can use loudspeaker (all the time? fml) or walk around with headphones plugged in... forever.
I was wondering if anybody here knew what I could do... like maybe format and reinstall firmware from scratch... or something... yeah...
Many thanks
