Hey everyone. I'm pretty savvy with computers, but I think someone tried to hack into my mac. I left my computer and when I came back there were a bunch of search this mac folders open with no items in them. I looked at the logs, but I have no idea how to decipher them. Can someone help me?

You probably were not hacked. Somebody may have opened a bunch of windows and tried to search for a few items.
Just to be safe go under System Preferences > Sharing, and make sure Screen Sharing is either turned off or requires a password. Are you at home on a local network or on a school network? Did anyone else have physical access to your computer?
