Ok, first thing I'll tell you, I dropped it today and it was flashing black and white screen. Then I turned it off by holding down the power button for 10 secs. Then after that, it wouldn't boot up at all. I plugged it in to iTunes and it said it was in recvoery mode. I restored it and it is still black screen and then iTunes still says it is in recovery mode. Pls help!!!!

PS: I've tried resetting it by holding down the home and power buttons for 10-15 secs not working.and it was fully carged when this happened:(:(:apple:

It sounds like you had already, and still are in DFU mode. I would try one more time to restore the device. If that fails, download tinyumbrella and use the kick out of recovery mode feature.

Take it to the Apple store - don't mention you dropped it.

Take it to the Apple store and told them: "I have never dropped it". Bazinga!:D, try to access to DFU or restore the system with iTunes. If nothing happened, you should go back to Apple.

ok, now it is working, but whenever i press the home button . instead of showing the screen with the unlock slider, it comes up with a white screen.:(SHould I stilll go to apple?

Try a dfu now. If still there is an issue, then yes.

It's not normal. They usually give u replacement. But I would not complain...
After all, u dropped it. The problem occurred and apple would say ur warranty has been void. Be patient.

Your title is misleading...

It says something wrong with iPod touch 4th gen.

Yes, it is something wrong because you dropped it.
