I sent my old PBG4 back to Apple 4 times for broken/non-responsive keys. I loved the feel of typing on that keyboard, but they had serious reliability issues.

I adore the feel of those keyboards. A 12” PowerBook G4 got me all through college. I’ve done so much writing on that machine. I still have it around for some old PowerPC games, and its keyboard is still the standard that I compare others to.

They're nice, I can't say whether I have a preference between the PB and Unibody era keyboards. They're both good, just depends on what I'm using at the time. I know the PB/early MBP keys liked to wear off so you'd see a smear instead of the keycap label. I definitely miss the integrated numeric keypad though.
