I thought iCloud stored videos now too?

I could've swore they said during one of the keynotes that iCloud will now sync videos between devices as well. They also mentioned that it would store stuff in full resolution. Did they not end up adding this feature? I just bought 200GB of iCloud storage

I uploaded video from my laptop, don't know about my iphone though. I just did it on my laptop experimenting.

The feature that was mentioned at WWDC was icloud photo library. This lets you store all your photos and videos in the cloud, unlike photo stream, which is just a limited number of photos and no videos. However, when iOS 8 was released it was relegated to beta status and doesn't seem to be available for everyone. Hopefully it will show up again with iOS 8.0.1 or 8.1.
