Hi.

I had the feeling that Safari was unusually slow, so I opened activity monitor, and it says that it's running as PowerPC :confused:
It's version 3.0.3 (522.12.1).
Is this normal? I'd have thought it'd be UB. Actually, when I get info on the app, it says UB, and the "open with rosetta" checkbox is unchecked...
 
Seems to be alright for me?

it is universal binary. click on the app, and "get info" on it. it should look like the attached image below. make sure the rosetta check box is unchecked. and after application, note how it reads "universal" in the parenthesis. so yeah, safari is, indeed, universal.

I know all this, but the thing is Activity monitor shows it as PowerPC
