I thought safari was UB :confused:

Hi.

I had the feeling that Safari was unusually slow, so I opened activity monitor, and it says that it's running as PowerPC
It's version 3.0.3 (522.12.1).
Is this normal? I'd have thought it'd be UB. Actually, when I get info on the app, it says UB, and the "open with rosetta" checkbox is unchecked...

it is universal binary. click on the app, and "get info" on it. it should look like the attached image below. make sure the rosetta check box is unchecked. and after application, note how it reads "universal" in the parenthesis. so yeah, safari is, indeed, universal.

Thats odd, I assume you've quit Safari, and opened it again? Have you tried restarting?

Restarting solved it... But it was funny nontheless....
