First, go to http://www.circuitcity.com/, and select any product that you want. Next, add it to the cart.
Then, change only the part between www. and .com to tigerdrirect.
Finally, change only the part between www. and .com to CompUSA.

Did you notice something? They all have the same information and products in the cart.
This also means that they are owned by the same company.

This was kind of a time waster, but I thought is was pretty cool!:)

Yes...

TigerDirect was bought out by Systemax a while back (the company that owns CompUSA) and TigerDirect revived Circuit City as an online only store.

Do you get an error or what?

Do you think it will ever have stores again? Or just online?

What, Circuit City?

Circuit City is no longer a store, so no, they will no longer have stores. They just kept the domain name of Circuit City and Systemax uses it as another online store.

MacRumors made it into a referrer link. They do the same thing for Newegg links. For cash. I guess arn doesn't make enough with the ads.

So if I post a link to a

random product on NewEgg it will become a refer link?

Edit: Well, I'll be damned. It sure did.

I'm sure Arn will be thrilled to know you think he makes enough money.
