I tried the whole fsck -f thing now what!?

I'm in the command screen and i pressed reboot and nothing changed it says appears to be ok but I'm still stuck in the osx loading screen with no where to go. plaese help me!

your Hard drive is either failing of the software on there is too damaged to be repaired with fsck would try reloading the operating system first to see if that helps
