im a klutz and broke my headphones, :(

but lesson learned.

im finding the cheapest way to replace these horribly cursed headphones,
thanks :)

Why would ANY company replace something broken by your negligence? Their fault...they will replace. Your fault...you will replace. I really hope you weren't serious!

That's kinda harsh. Why belittle the guy?

OP you're just lucky it was your headphones that broke rather than your phone being rocketed into a wall or something.

Because his attitude is amazingly common, and reflective of so much wrong with society. Sorry it wasn't sugar-coated enough for ya.

1) could tell by the post you are not a dude ;)
2) You give off not so much attitude as naivete. Warranties cover manufacturing defects, not owner defects. Sorry if I came off a bit gruff.

I wouldn't expect sugar-coating any more than you offering her your headphones as a replacement.

I would, however, expect you to offer helpful advice rather than being a jerk about it. That is, after all, what she came here for. But I guess I shouldn't act surprised. I've been reading here long enough to know about 50% of the regulars here use ridiculing newbies to feel better about themselves.
