Just a note to people that think it is stupid to buy the 30+tax apple usb dongle.
Just to see if it would work, I bought a USB ethernet adapter at Fry's for $7.99 and it works just fine on the first try. No driver to install, just plug it in and go.
Now granted, it does not look nearly as slick as Apple's, but for the 1-2 times a year I will need it, I don't really mind saving 25 bucks.
