It's your choice on whether you want to wait or not, but if I were you, I'd take advantage of discounts that other retailers are having and buy a 15" (baseline model 2.2GHz/16GB RAM/256 GB SSD/Iris Pro 5200).

I wouldn't buy the 13 or 15 inch if you want to game, the MacBook is not a games machine so you should spend your money on something that meets your criteria.

Check out Alienware notebooks, Razer notebooks and I wouldn't rule out the HP Omen range as they got great reviews for gaming...
