I want an iphone but...

Hello guys,

I have been waiting years so apple and att decide to launch the iphone here in Puerto Rico, for some reason after all this wait there will be no iphone. I knwo i can uncloked and the few people i know with one it works great and all feature does. The problem is that it seem the only way i can get one is thru ebay and they are selling for $750-900. I maybe can pay 500 maybe 600 at top for 16 gp but +800 is way too much.

Sometimes i think how come its so hard to get one here for a fair price... ohh well i am just looking for suggestion ways i might get one that i snot ebay for a fair price. Tried with a family member going to usa but they finally did not go. Paying for a trip there dont worth the iphone. any suggestion let me know.

The reason why they're 700-800 dollars is because the total cost of purchasing one from Apple is ~550. Advertised price of $199/$299 is for those intend to keep the phone and remain as AT&T customer.

Paying a premium of $150-$200 or roughly 30% is not that bad, all depends on how much you want it. Can't afford it? Move on.

the htc has better camera, better sxreen and better sms and for the other stuff the touch with more space than 16 gb.

Arrr, I say try an' be seein' if ye can get an unlocked one in France, Italy, or Belgium. I`ve heard that these countries sell official unlocked 3Gs an' maybe ye can pick up on that deal. Ya lily livered swabbie!
