iPod touch I want an Ipod Touch

I want so badly an Ipod Touch 2G but i still would like to wait until the 3G

comes out what should I do? Help?

Use the 2G for 29 days and bring it back?

Uh... There won't be a new one in 29 days. Wait if you want to wait, buy if you don't. It isn't that hard.

new touch will come out around sep to nov fastest.

The new iPod touch should be out in the fall before the holiday season.

Expect a 64GB model. Other than that, not sure what else Apple has up it's sleeve.

It's April now. If the new ones come out in say September, you will have to wait 5 months or purchase now and enjoy for 5 months.

ah 64 GB could be tempting. I would be downgrading from no room on an 80gb to 32gb :/

Exactly, but just the right amount of upgrades to make you feel outdated if you own a 2nd gen...

i don't think i'll ever get one because of this maddening trick of consumerism

we obviously dont know that, but i kind of agree with that speculation. i suspect Apple's 4th gen and abouve or their new (predicted) palm/tablets will have the more radical hardware change.

but it's the same ethos with computer things everywhere - if you want something go out now and buy it and be happy. dont worry about whats around the corner tomorrow.
