At this point I'm pretty sure most retail stores like Target, Best Buy and Walmart have all almost (if not completely) sold out of the First Generation iPad and is just selling the Second Generation Model.

Online Apple is still offering refurbished units at a very reasonable price.

You can get a refurbished one for $350 here in the US thats pretty cheap.
Don't buy used you won't get a warranty or any of that stuff.

Try any open university stores. My old school priced all ipad 1st gen's at $299 new. Or craigslist. My ipad, before I sold it, I bought off of craigslist for $350 64gb brand new in box.

There are good deals out there, just have to look around.
