I want my F9, F10 and F11 on my iMAC to work like on my iBook!

hi all,

Just got a new iMAC and am frustrating by not being able to get these keys to work as on my iBook. I go into expose preferences and choose F9 and - but nothing happens when I hit F9. I hate having to press the function key to get the old functionality of F9, F10 and F11! Any suggestions?

Either press fn+F9 etc

or

System Preferences - Keyboard & Mouse - Keyboard - Use all F1, F2, etc....
