My new phone can carry out my google request from my voice...or play music I ask for,,,or take a request for driving directions...
Now I want my Mac to do that. limited typing....

Is there a software solution ?

I am fully aware my mac has speech recognition for a VERY FEW commands...

I am looking for an app that compares with the software in my new andriod phone that can fill in the google search box with my speech, for instance,

I can tap the screen and say"how deep is the deepest part of the Chesapeake bay" or "how old is Harry Smith from the early show"...and faster than I could have pecked on a desktop keyboard,,,a page is open on my $149 mobile device at 3g speed with search results. Neat parlor trick, huh?

I want my Mac to replicate this ! ! !

iPhone can also search by voice.

Project Jarvis is making software to do that on the Mac.

I know iPhone4 and DroidX are in direct competition ......I dont have ATT cell coverage at home...so I had to go Verizon.

So is project Jarvis anywhere near the marketing stage?

I have read up on Dragon Dictate, and besides the HIGH price,,,it seems like overkill unless you are writing a book.
