I still don't understand how people can afford $1500-2000 computers and not $70-90 software....

But I sympathize. Sorry, I do sympathize.

I believe Tiger is like ~$150 but even so, its not that i couldnt go out and buy it, its just that there are much smarter things to spend my small amount of cash on right now ;)

Do what I did... Park cars at a fundraiser for a ton of animals. (A lot of rich people were there) and rack up the tips. $200 feels nice to make in one night

Duff-Man says...it is $129.00 (+ taxes if applicable) but there are several deals/rebates to be had...should be very easy to get for under $100....go on, do it...you know you want to...heheheh.....oh yeah!

but then i get to thinkin how that ~$100 could be put towards my next purchase....a new dual 2.7 G5 Powermac :D and i *think* tiger is included with that :D

Pish-tush...don't you mean a dual core Pentium D Powermac? :D

*pulls plug from grenade*

*runs away*

I know whatcha mean, I have like, 10 things lined up to buy for my computer, and Tiger was just one of them. I got it the other day though, but now I need more ram, some better speakers, iLife, iWork, etc.

Theres just too many Apple products, not enough cash....

I am looking into getting a Mac Mini to hook up to my bigscreen as kind of a Media Center Computer. Also seriously looking into a new Powermac as i am getting more into intensive photo and video editing. I am also looking into getting an LCD to replace my HUGE CRT monitor that i have hooked up to the PB as of now.

Like i said, too many products, not enough cash.... :p

Your not missing much, plus it's still a little buggy. I would say wait for the next revision within the next few weks, then buy it.

I think we all share your pain!

My free computer.. I've already put like $300 of accessories into it, and I haven't even gotten the AppleCare yet! Ai carumba!

But the Apple products.. it's one of the better addictions.. it doesn't make you gain weight like being a chocoholic. :)

If you just want widgets get Konfabulator. I don't use it anymore now that I have Tiger, but actually kinda miss some of its features.
