This older MB is using OS X 10.7.5. I'd like to put DiskWarrior 4 and 10.7.5 on a 32GB flash drive.
Is it simply a matter of double-clicking the 10.7.5 installer and installing it on the flash drive then boot from that flash drive to install Diskwarrior on it?
How does the OS X installer know that the flash drive is compatible? It doesn't need hardware or anything?
Also since this Macbook is on 10.7.5 this cannot be done for any newer OSs right? Whatever OS I want to install on the flash drive I need to be running that OS?
Is 32GB enough for the OS and Diskwarrior? What about 16GB?
