Hey guys !

Hope you're great !

Well, pretty much I'm a Mac user since January and I love it, but I have a question about the locking features in my Mac.

Is there a way to ONLY lock the mac when I close the lid instead of the both options that Security panel gave you ??

Hope you can help me !

Send you a huge hug !

Only possible to put password on wake from sleep and screensaver. This may change with Snow Leopard.

You don't need a program. Just go into System Preferences-Security, then click the radio button that says, "Require a password to wake this computer from sleep or screensaver".

When you close the lid and the Macbook goes to sleep, then you open the lid you'll get a slight delay and then the password box will appear.

Thxs for your help HLDAN, but my problem is that I do not want to type a password when the screensaver is active, only when I open the lid is the moment I want to type the password ;)

Send you a hug !
